PRESIDENT

Hi there! I’m Caitlin, and I’m currently the President of NSW Young Labor.

I got involved in the Labor Party because I genuinely believe in the ongoing change that Labor Governments make for the community across NSW.

Since joining the party, I have been President of the WSU Labor Club, President of Greater Western Sydney Young Labor Association, General Executive of NSW Young Labor, Senior Vice President of NSW Young Labor, and now President of NSW Young Labor.

I look forward to working with you all!!

SECRETARY

Like many in our organisation, I joined the ALP because of what Labor policies have done for me. I grew up in social housing in Western Sydney and attended public schools my entire life. Relying on strong Labor policies to get by wasn’t a choice for my family, it was a necessity.

Since joining the ALP, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the labour movement as an advisor in the Australian Parliament and researcher for Australia’s oldest trade union. I've also served as a NSW Labor Safety and Respect Officer, run election campaigns and helped found a new branch of the ALP.

Labor has opened so many doors for me, and as the secretary of NSW Young Labor, I’m excited to share these opportunities with the next generation of members.
